Meet our Pastors
Bishop Eddie and First Lady Yyonne Sweeney.

Eddie and Yvonne Sweeney are the Lead Pastors of the Jennings Church of God.  They come to us with 35 plus years of pastoral experience.  Pastor Ed received his Ordained Bishop’s License in 1996. He graduated in 2017 from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary with a Masters of Pentecostal Studies. 

Pastor Yvonne received her Ordained Minister’s License in 2000.  She graduated from Lee University with her Masters in Church Leadership in 2015. 

They served as Lead Pastors of the Odenton Church of God from 1990-2021 taking the congregation to 4 different locations.  

 Currently they are Pastor Emeritus of the Odenton Church. 

 

They have two married children.  Jacqueline is married to Anthony Acevedo and they have three children. Payton, 13, Carter, 10, and Tiegan, 2.  Jonathan and Sierra have been married since spring of 2021.  They are both credentialed ministers serving the Jennings Church of God as Associate Pastors.
